Bielefeld-based company Green in Business GmbH and the Bielefeld office of energy park developer UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG have laid the foundation for future collaboration through the signing of a letter of intent.
Accelerated realisation of wind and solar parks
The aim of the collaboration is the accelerated expansion of renewable energies towards a self-sufficient and climate-neutral supply for individual municipalities and local businesses. To increase value creation in the regions and advance decarbonisation, UKA and GiB want to make optimal use of the local conditions in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
While UKA, as a fully integrated developer with strong implementation and financial capacity, covers the entire value chain from planning through construction and maintenance to operation, GiB brings its close ties to municipalities and companies from industry and the mid-market, as well as its consulting, development and financing expertise.
“As a full-service provider in the areas of wind and PV, we are now available to our customers as a one-stop shop. We look forward to the dynamic collaboration with the UKA Group.”Karsten Jurgschat, Managing Partner GiB
Partner for municipalities, municipal utilities and energy-intensive businesses
The realisation of wind and solar parks is becoming increasingly complex: laws are changing, processes are intricate, and prices are rising. Many municipalities and municipal utilities lack the know-how and resources to implement these projects on their own. As experienced players, the partners stand ready to support the step towards energy independence.
“The energy transition is a joint endeavour. In particular, local partners create synergies that benefit not only businesses but also citizens.”Paul Hoffmann, Branch Manager UKA West
